Schedule updates for 2021

Happy New Year!

We hope 2021 is off to a decent start (and let’s face it: anything is better than 2020), and that the year ahead holds good tidings. With the start of a new year comes some changes here at Treat Yourself Day Spa. While it’s certainly nothing earth-shattering, it will have an impact on some services in the future. Fortunately, it’s mostly good news!

First the good news! Shannon is opening up additional appointments for massage services!

We know it’s been a bit tough to get appointments over the last six months or so. Since we returned last spring, our schedule has been booked out at least three months in advance. With the exception of the occasional cancellation, that means that the availability has been limited.

To help alleviate that a little, starting January 15, Shannon is offering massage appointments on Fridays. These dates are first-come; first serve, though we are offering them to our loyal clients first via this newsletter. Simply head to our website and you can book through there!

We continue to search for a new massage therapist to join our family, and as soon as we have one on board, we expect to have substantially more availability, and thus not need to put as many clients on our wait list.

If you’re looking for a massage before Shannon opens her schedule, David has an opening this Friday (January 8) at 4:45 p.m. He also has an opening January 16 at 10 a.m. And of course, we’ll keep you updated with our search, and if you know of any prospective therapists, who would be a good fit, please refer them to us!

Speaking of the wait list, here is some bad news: We’ll be purging the wait list beginning mid-January. The list has become a bit difficult to deal with; there are nearly 60 names on it! Additionally, the circumstance of some of our clients has changed, whether they are no longer in state or have different scheduling needs.

So with that in mind, we’re restarting our wait list. If you’d like to have your name added, simply call or text us requesting that your name be added to the list. You can also ask to be added when you’re in for your next treatment.

We will likely purge the wait list every 4-6 months going forward, so as to not have outdated information. We encourage our clients to book appointments out several months in advance, so that you are assured you have an appointment.

If you’d like to become a recurring client, please let us know. It’s the best way to guarantee that you have a standing appointment at the same time on the same day, whether that’s weekly or monthly.

We hope the holiday season was good to you, and that 2021 is even better!
